He's ready to make a withdrawal
Our eternal Father stored some magnificent and useful gifts on the inside of each of us. Many are aware of the deposits that have been made and unfortunately some are not. If you find that you are one of the people with knowledge of this deposit. This message is written with you in mind. Notice that I used the word stored but please note that although God placed them inside of you, they are not meant to be kept, they are meant to be distributed as needed.
We are to share our gifts (1 Corinthians 12:7) so that the gift in others may be identified, realized and understood. You see, there is something about giving a gift that causes the recipient to ‘light up.’
I remember a particular occasion when my very loving leaders, ministered to the congregants at our church through song, my heart was opened and receptive to the words that they carefully ministered. It sparked something within me that made me want to draw closer to not only them, but the one who inspired them to share the gift that resided on the inside of them - God. At that moment, I was ‘opened’ for God to make a withdrawal from me that would encourage me to share my very own gifts with others. I was so appreciative of what my leaders shared, that I yielded myself to be used by God to bless someone with a gift that would provoke joy and an invitation for the presence of the Lord to be awakened in that person's life.
For the knowing, yes, this message was written with you in mind because when you allow God to withdraw what you have, for the benefit of others, change takes place and sets in motion the series of events which are mentioned in the word of God, ever heard one planted, the other watered, but God gave the increase? Our gift giving helps to break up fallow ground and prepares the way for the Lord to rest rule and abide, as never before in the life of the one you shared your gift with. Not only that, but your faith, trust, and love towards God grows because He allows you to witness His love, mercy, and kindness towards His creation. When we allow our lights to shine, it is drawing. When we lift God up with our lives, men will be drawn to God. Are you lifting Him up? Have you shown unexpected kindness, patience, encouragement, a word of prayer, support, or shown yourself friendly to anyone lately? These are a few of the very things that we must exercise before men so that they would come running and asking what must they do to be saved. I welcome the opportunity to answer that question, what about you?
When we look at the current state of the world, we see people challenged in many areas of their lives, but praise God for the revelation that our God shall supply all our needs according to His riches in glory! It’s not just about the financial aspect, but the very fact that God will show us, if we allow, what things are really important and necessary for our lives. Some may wonder, why you have a smile on your face when your lights may be turned off, or your bank account reading zero dollar, or you have just lost your job, the very fact, that your response is opposite of that expected by this world is enough to pique ones curiosity, so, when they come to ask what it’s all about, the word charges us to "sanctify the Lord God[a] in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; (1 Peter 3:15) this is why, we must make sure our behavior is that which brings glory to our Father!
I challenge you, that no matter what you find yourself dealing with today, good, bad, ugly or indifferent, that you “let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." " For with you is the fountain of life; in you we see life." I want to hear someone proclaim that as a result of my giving to them! I am excited even at the thought of it and what the spirit would speak through me to them at that moment, withdraw from me Lord!
When we avail our gifts to be used in this way, I believe that God will allow us to see the wealth, impact and power of the treasures that reside on the inside of us and others. What a great way to demonstrate His awesome creative ability!
I encourage you to share God with others as the opportunity presents itself. Its not about the size of the gift, but the presence & power of the one who deposited the gift, that my dear brothers and sisters is what changes the life of the receiver.
