Let this be the week

Let this be the week when we decide to detach our passion from worldly things and attach it to the spiritual

Let this be the week when we decide to no longer let the issues of yesteryear; keep us from walking freely down the path that God has designed us to travel

Let this be the week when we decide to forgive the relative or friend who accidentally, unknowingly or purposely hurt us

Let this be the week when we realize that in order to move deeper into the purpose God intended for us, we have to release any and all ungodly words, acts, or deeds that would hold us at the surface level

Let this be the week when we decide to love instead of hate

Let this be the week that we face the very thing that we have been in fear of

Let this be the week that we increase our prayer time

Let this be the week that we deny our flesh that in which it desires and agree to strengthen our spirit man

Let this be the week that we fill the gaps of indecision with the certainty of God’s word

Let this be the week that we began to care about those who are lonely, homeless, and living in poverty and act

Let this be the week that our deaf ear becomes unblocked and sensitive to the voice of God

Let this be the week that the words of our mouth and the meditation of our heart become pleasing to the Lord

Let this be the week that we consider our debts and seek a solution for it, whether it’s denying ourselves a luxury or asking forgiveness

Let this be the week that we do something for the Lord with a spirit of excellence and praise Him while doing it

Let this be the week that we evaluate the reason behind each of our actions, if it doesn’t line up with God’s word, consider it unwarranted

Let this be the week that we clean and dust our spiritual house of all unrighteousness

Let this be the week we consider God first in all that we do

Let this be the week we Believe, Love, and Obey God

  1. Amen, sister. Today is the day to start afresh and to start new. For me sometimes I feel like it has to be at a certain time of the year or at the beginning of the week, not so. As long as I'm still breathing, it's not too late to began walking in God's will. I've made it a goal to habitually spend more time with God and in His word. I know that as I continue in His word I will begin to discover Him and will love Him even the more.
