A Scribe to God

His arms embrace me.
When life tries to erase
the peace that exists within me.
Convinced that He is able to do
All that He promised to do
I sit still in His throne room.
One by one I express my concerns
because I know if I don't
Inside I will hurt.
Sharing my thoughts from the scroll
written in tears as downward they rolled.
He is with me, He is with you
Call on Him at all times because
He cares passionately about me and you.
The days roll in with clouds scattered across the sky
No true path, just continually floating by
I rejoice and be glad in it instead of wondering how or why?
There are people and things in life that we must appreciate
There are moments that offer life change
We must ask our Father how to embrace.
Often we long for the truth
from those who are incapable of sharing
Instead of asking the one who's love is perfectly true.
Family, friends, joy and pain
are lifetime pleasures
that are to be experienced often and again.
Yes, in all things we are to praise our Father's name
Because there is nothing new under the sun
and under His shelter He still comforts us in the rain.
Oh, how I love Him because He first loved me
I sing out of my heart to Him
Because He never disappoints me.
I love Him because He gave His son Jesus
A name that is above every name
And no matter what, He remains the same.
I love Him because He created me
He dwells inside of me night and day
So I can tell you how sweet, loving, and patient He can be.
Its not a fictional story written in a book
He is a true life turner
My sins away He took.
I believe in the Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit
I honor God for all of His blessings
And when He speaks kind words, my soul loves to hear them.
I believe, I believe all that He has spoken to me
It is important that we know and believe
Because Jesus died on Calvary.
He died so that we may have a greater life and do all that The Father wills
So that one day we would see Him in Heaven
And the thought of that gives me sweet and holy chills.
I love Him, in more ways than I can express
I love Him because in a robe of righteousness He wants you and me to dress
I love Him because He is a Healer and will never fail us because He is the best.
