Focusing on the sound of your heartbeat will ensure that we find our way to the treasures you have embedded on the path called obedience. Living according to YOUR will guarantees victory over the obstacles that present themselves - you have given us armor to wear daily and desire for us to use it effectively so that we may live another day to proclaim that Jesus is Lord and at His name every knee shall bow and every tongue confess…we cry aloud and spare not.
In our own strength we can do nothing but fail so we acknowledge your joy as our strength. Leaning on your arm, we rest confidently in knowing that you will protect those who place their trust in you. Nowhere can we turn and you not be there, the earth is yours and the fullness thereof.
Your existence fills voids caused by ignorance, immaturity, hopelessness and disobedience…as a result ignorance becomes knowledge, immaturity becomes maturity, hopelessness becomes hope and disobedience becomes obedience – praise God, you make all things new.
We praise your name that you desire to satisfy us with long life, may our desire be to glorify you continually in word, act, and deed. Because precious are your ways that intercept our wrong ways, oh you renew us and help us to see that your ways are higher than ours. You make us conscious and help us to see the traps that were laid on the path that we wanted to take – you are a light unto our paths and a lamp unto our feet, you save us from ourselves.
If we had ten thousand tongues we could not praise you enough, but we would still praise you with all of them. We love you with every ounce of our being, it all belongs to you anyway, so we give ourselves to you willingly because in your presence there is fullness of joy.
