Flow: Lord I want to hear you
Yes, Lord, I want to hear you, deep down in my soul I yearn to learn all that you have said about me, help me Lord where I am weak, to move past those things that have come to easily beset me, give me strength to pass past my flesh that is enmity against you. I want to hear you Lord.
Lord, I want to hear you because there is a part of me that wants to do contrary to what your word has said, but help me to resist it and not give in to it. When things come to knock me down, help me to rest in the comfort of your word that you have sent, that you have spoken to keep me rooted, grounded and able to stand up strong and bending but not breaking in this life.
Lord, I want to hear you because there are so many people and things vying for my attention and I know that what they have to offer is not eternity. Rather temporary satisfaction that only gives birth to more want for that in which cannot get me into that place of peace and serenity that helps me to keep my sanity.
Lord, I want to hear you. Because there are some people assigned to me to lead and there is life for me to conquer and it is only by your spirit that I will be able to do so. I can’t do it without you Lord. I want to hear you Lord because the world is crying out for a Savior and I want to know the exact words that you want me to speak, so that their soul might be made free from its entanglements!
Lord, I want to hear you because no matter what language you speak in, my spirit man will agree and help me to do what it is that you have spoken. I want to hear you Lord because I know that no matter what, I may search the whole world yet, there will be no one who can love me or save me like you can.
Lord I want to hear you, because the world is speaking death and I know your words speak life. I want to hear you Lord because there are some things that I know you are calling me away from and it is only through your word that I will obtain the knowledge and understanding that will direct me to my absolute deliverance.
Lord I want to hear you because in the most important moments in time, I don’t want to find myself in the same place I was in yesteryear in my heart, mind and soul. I want to be moving forward and it is only by taking your yoke upon me that I will go in the direction and way that you have planned for me.
I want to hear you Lord because the enemy does speak and he wants me to do something completely opposite of what you desire for me to do! I want to hear you Lord because I want to know what your will is and so I lift my spiritual ear to hear what it is that the spirit of the Lord is saying!
