Words~

I love words.

I love the POWER of words.

I love Etymology.

I love exploring why people say what they say.

Most of all, I love to see the positive actions that words PRODUCE.

I believe that spoken words generate from our personalities, beliefs, observations, convictions, experiences, and the impressions we form from the world around us.

To receive a piece of bubble gum from a bubble gum machine, a quarter is required - you don't know which piece or color you will receive until it rolls down into the dispenser.  Your expectancy is for a yummy piece of bubble gum and not a dried up bean.  Likewise, when situations of life occur, a response of words are automatic generated (spoken aloud or maybe not, solicited and sometimes unsolicited), the energy or source that carry those words is very important.  You do not want to say the wrong thing at the wrong time rather the right thing at the right time.  So it is wise to speak supported by truth, knowledge, and understanding.  By intentionally placing truth filters at the entry ways of our senses, we guard against contamination - left unguarded a melody of unwanted and untimely and unnecessary sounds arise.

It is SO important to say what you mean and mean what you say.  Own your words because once you speak them, they will certainly own you.  All will see that you are the keeper of that in which was spoken and by this, others will measure the value or lack of value in your contributions to resolution of issues.

It is worthwhile to note that, being uncertain of your position and not speaking, is ok.  Speaking without adequate knowledge or understanding robs you of the opportunity to learn, you can become so consumed by backlash, that there is no energy immediately available to assist you in recovering - lost time.

Do you ever wonder WHY you want to know, what you want to know?  What is the purpose of your inquiry, is it to help you? hurt others? magnify an issue that needs attention? support others? bring closure? advance your purpose? destroy? Will the answer enrich or spoil your life?  Do we really need to know what we want to know? I am only asking...

Words can do so many positive things:

Inspire.Build.Connect.Develop.Enhance.Fortify.Support.Improve.Compliment.Affirm.Captivate.Honor.

What do your words do?

I encourage you to pause, and make sure that before you speak- your words, that you love and appreciate what you are about to say, as much as you want the person(s) hearing it to appreciate it and can understand the true purpose for it being spoken.

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver. Proverbs 25:11
