Are you tired yet?

I LOVE encouraging others

I see SO many people walking in their purpose of encouraging people.  Sometimes I wonder about the result and application of the encouragement that has been dispensed.  Is it making an impact? To be honest, we may not see the fruit from all of our labor but obedience is important.  We must realize that, not seeing the fruit is OK and avoiding stressing ourselves to the point of a frenzy seeking after, what I call, proof of impact - is important.  This behavior is tiring, draining and discouraging.

I want to encourage those who are wondering if their work is working

Continue to be happy and obedient to God, Nehemiah 8:10 Then he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

God sees everything that you do, Matthew 6:3-4 But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.

Grow in grace, stay in place and be authentic, James 4:6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

I know that God has a plan for each of us and my encouragement to you today is to follow His plan.  He will never lead you astray.  Deny the disappointment that tries to come because people are not affirming you, God is the best at affirming you and will elevate you at the appointed time.  I encourage you to not be weary in doing well, for you will reap if you faint not.  I encourage you to NOT compare yourself to other people, be authentically you.  When you do this, you will not be lost in a whirlwind of confusion, be tossed to and fro, indecisive, confused or chasing mirages.  God will make your calling sure.

There is a process that we all must go through in order to become who God desires us to.  Do not skip a step, enjoy the journey.  It is worth it.

Blessings,
Tanika
