I came back convinced – even the more
There is something about being in the presence of the Lord. It’s a place of safety and liberty.
I mention safety because no matter what is going on around you, you can experience God’s great protection and covering. When the fire begins to rage, no matter how hot the flames become, He wraps you in His word, like a fireman wraps a fire victim, and takes you to safety. When the rain begins to fall He provides a shelter so that you can rest in the shadow of the Almighty. When the winds began to blow, He is a strong tower in which you can grab hold and know that its firmness will keep you from being blown away.
I mention liberty because, while all hell is breaking loose in your life or around you, His joy will cause you dance to the beat of His heart, and know that these events shall pass. You will be able to sing that God “is able to exceedingly and abundantly above all that we could ever ask or think according to his power that is at work within us (Ephesians 3:20).” As we consume our mind with His goodness and mercy that follows us all the days of our lives, we can move progressively forward in His purpose with the power and authority that He has given us.
I came back changed because He assured me of who I was when I sought Him, and when I took time to worship and praise Him in the beauty of His holiness. It feels nice, try it.
Believe, Love, and Obey God
