Feed me

Do you feel that? It’s your spirit man longing to be fed. It’s that same feeling that you sense in your stomach when you did not have breakfast or lunch. It’s a groaning and moaning feeling that comes suddenly without any effort from you, its natural, its spiritual, it’s the creation calling out to the creator, our body is “for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.” What is it that you are doing today that is keeping you from providing your spirit with the nutrient that it needs to grow? I pray now that you will consider your day and all that you have planned, have you made time to read, study, and reflect on the Word of God? There is something that He wants you to hear and see on today. Position yourself to receive it. Find yourself in a quiet place today, so that He can speak to you, so that He can give you instructions that will help to steer you in the direction that He wants you to go (Job 23:10)..he knoweth the way that I take: [when] he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. God’s ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9), I know even now, that because He formed me, He knows His plans for me, He said, For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). This is a great reason to read the word today, how else are we going to know, if we don’t give Him an opportunity to speak to us through His word???
