The Third Little Pig
All have read the story so I will cut out the summary.
I thank God for the pig who decided to use brick to build up his house. There was something in him ( I believe it was The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit) that helped him to understand that, when the enemy is on the prowl and seeking to take your life, you got to come with something that is solid, strong and sure.
"We use God's mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments." (2 Corinthians 10:4 NLT)
"So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, And His glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard against him." Isaiah 59:19 (NKJV)
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.” Matthew 7:24-27
No matter what form the enemy comes in today, you have many options to defeat him with the bricks of the Word. Here are a couple. (You are welcome to add more.)
1. Pick up a brick and throw it at the enemy
2. Continue to build your house up with the bricks and build and build and build. Resist the enemy and he will flee.
Build your house with the bricks of God’s word, they are the most sustainable and quality around.
