Misplaced...
Misplaced is an adjective meaning, incorrectly positioned and temporarily lost. I am going to #flow. There are things that, for whatever reason, become misplaced - thoughts, items, tools, socks, keys and the list goes on and on and on. As we embark upon the third week of January and for some, find ourselves constantly colliding with quotes, signs and images designed to inspire and motivate us, what are we doing with that inspiration and motivation?
In my world, I believe that, inspiration and motivation are fuel that is used in one's life to help them advance or become a better person. Once you obtain this fuel, a spark is birthed which ignites action. When the action is set in motion, the heat or excitement brings balance and creates TRACTION for you to navigate the terrain in which you are supposed to travel to encounter purpose.
There should be balance in our lives so that we can succeed in life. When there is no balance, pulling may occur which begins to frustrate our discernment of direction and we find ourselves pulled in all types of directions. Unless this is corrected, we will continue to move further and further out of position. We need to be in position and not misplaced. We must stay focused and in tuned to everything relating to our life. We do not want to wear ourselves out or be stressed only to look up, after traveling for a period of time, THINKING & BELIEVING that we are going somewhere and we are going, NOWHERE. Everything is out of sync and we are lost. This wears on us. We slip. We are negatively impacted, out of positioned and FRUSTRATED.
Get in position.
There is joy that can be found in the recovery phase of that which has been misplaced or lost. For instance, being loved by someone and that love ends and then you find love again in something or someone else. The celebratory phase rejuvenates your spirit and makes you feel whole again.
What's misplaced?
Are you misplaced? Is your awareness of purpose misplaced? Is your ability to forgive misplaced? Is your hope misplaced? Is your healing misplaced? Is your boldness misplaced? Is the vision for your life misplaced? Is your ability to hear God misplaced? Is your ability to capture the truths being spoken to you misplaced?
Habakkuk 2:2-3 I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the Lord answered me, and said, write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that breadth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
When God is speaking, we need to be in position and LISTENING. He dropped this word, MISPLACED into my spirit for a reason and we must take note of what He is speaking. Write down what you feel and sense while reading this post. Apply what you obtain and make it active in your life by using it as a tool to make progress as you pursue the strategic direction for your life. All that God has pre-ordained for your life, will be, WAIT FOR IT; BECAUSE IT WILL SURELY COME, IT WILL NOT TARRY.
It is time to get every aspect of our lives in order. We need to be properly positioned and found exactly where we need to be, mind, body and soul, NOT MISPLACED. When we are aware of our NOT being where we are supposed to be, we need to seek help. Some of the knowledge that we need, we may have but then, there are times when others may be able to help bring us back into alignment, they may be able to guide us back to the place where we became off track, so that we can get ON TRACK.
